I was unable to connect to https://my.dataiku.com/ from my company network with or the without proxy server so that it was likely due to the Internet protection of McAfee Endpoint Security for which I have no configuration access.
I am evaluating Dataiku for my company to see if I would recommend to buy the app/service. I would if there is a workaround such as through telephone/email registration.
I opened a support ticket with Dataiku but was told with "Since you asked on the community website already, let's continue for the moment there."...

Access to this website is required in order to self-register the Free Edition. We have however received your second inquiry about getting a dedicated trial license and have forwarded it internally, our team will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
We can unfortunately not comment on why your corporate proxy is specifically blocking https://my.dataiku.com
If, after discussion with our business team, they provide you with an evaluation license, no registration call will be sent so you will not have this issue.
Serena from business/sale kindly worked out a temporary evaluation license for me ! I am able to run the DSS instance now.
Meanwhile our network folks are still looking into the connectivity issue I have with https://my.dataiku.com/.
